SMARTS – IRD Online Portal Service Restored

The Inland Revenue Department is pleased to inform taxpayers that the technical issues affecting the SMARTS online portal have been resolved and the system is now back online.

We thank you for your patience and understanding during the disruption and apologize for any inconvenience caused.

SMARTS – IRD Online Portal Temporarily Offline

The Inland Revenue Department wishes to inform taxpayers that the SMARTS online portal is currently experiencing technical difficulties and is temporarily offline.

We are actively working to resolve the issue and restore service as soon as possible. Taxpayers are kindly asked to take note and we apologize for any inconvenience caused.

The Inland Revenue Department wishes to inform all corporate income taxpayers that the deadline for Income Tax Installments originally due on March 17, 2025, has been extended to March 25, 2025.

Taxpayers are encouraged to take advantage of this extension and ensure timely payments to avoid penalties and interest.

The St. Kitts and Nevis Inland Revenue Department is committed to ensuring a seamless and efficient tax filing experience for all our taxpayers. We are pleased to announce an extension of the filing due date for Quarterly Taxes and VAT submissions.

The new deadline for filing and payment is now Wednesday, 18th December 2024.

This extension is provided to give our taxpayers additional time to comply with their tax obligations without unnecessary stress or inconvenience. We encourage you to utilize this opportunity to finalize and submit your filings promptly.

Property owners renting accommodations through online platforms such as Airbnb, Expedia, Booking, Vrbo, TripAdvisor, HomeToGo, Kayak, and similar services that income earned from these rentals must be reported in accordance with the Value Added Tax (VAT) Act, Cap 18.47 and the (Island Enhancement Fund) Act, Cap 20.51 requirements
