SMARTS Registration and Property Tax Reminder
The Inland Revenue Department reminds all property owners in St. Kitts that Property Tax for 2026 was due on June 30, 2026, and taxpayers are encouraged to make their payments as soon as possible and by July 31, 2026.
Property Tax can be paid through SMARTS, Quick Pay at www.sknird.com/quickpay, the National Bank Payment Portal, or in person at the Inland Revenue Department.
As the Department continues its transition to the SMARTS Tax Administration System, taxpayers are encouraged to register for SMARTS and take advantage of its convenient online services.
To support this transition, the Inland Revenue Department has established a dedicated SMARTS Help Desk to assist taxpayers with registration and account access.

Property Tax Reminder
The Inland Revenue Department reminds all property owners in St. Kitts that Property Tax for 2026 was due on June 30, 2026.
If you have not yet paid your Property Tax, you are encouraged to do so as soon as possible and by July 31, 2026.
The Department also advises that interest and penalties have not yet been applied, making this an excellent opportunity to settle your tax obligations before additional charges become due.
Payments can be made through SMARTS, Quick Pay at www.sknird.com/quickpay, the National Bank Payment Portal, or in person at the Inland Revenue Department.
When paying through Quick Pay or the National Bank Payment Portal, remember to include your Property ID or Tax Identification Number to ensure your payment is accurately identified and promptly posted to your account.

Mailing of the 2026 Property Tax Bills Delayed
VAT Due April 15th, 2026
Kindly take note that VAT is Due: Wednesday, 15th April 2026 We encourage you to file on time and pay in full to remain compliant and avoid penalties and interest. File and pay online via the Inland Revenue Department’s website.
CIT Return and Payment Due April 15th, 2026
Corporate Taxpayers, take note:
If your business has a financial year ending December 31, 2025, your Corporate Income Tax Return and payment are due by April 15, 2026. Avoid penalties and interest-file and pay-on-time
Vehicle Licences and Registration Renewal Reminder
Reminder: Taxpayers with vehicle licences and registration ending with No. 4, please ensure that you are roadworthy. Renew your License and registration to avoid penalties and fees.
CIT-101 Portal Technical Difficulties – March 5, 2026
The CIT-101 portal is currently experiencing technical difficulties. Our team is working to restore access to allow timely submission of 2025 filings ahead of the April 15 deadline.
