The Inland Revenue Department (IRD) Basseterre, St. Kitts August 18, 2025: The Inland Revenue Department (IRD) is encouraging all property owners to act now by registering for the MyGovernment Portal and updating their taxpayer information ahead of the September 30, 2025 deadline.

This initiative, part of the Department’s ongoing digital transformation efforts through the SMARTS system, aims to improve service delivery, promote taxpayer compliance, and strengthen the nation’s tax administration framework.

Effective immediately, all taxpayers visiting IRD offices in St. Kitts and Nevis should expect to be encouraged by our Customer Service Agents to complete this important registration and update process where necessary. We kindly urge taxpayers to act early to avoid unnecessary delays and ensure smooth and timely processing of all transactions.

How to Get Started:

Online – Visit www.sknird.com and use KEISHA, IRD’s digital assistant, for easy, step-by-step guidance on how to:

  • Register for a MyGovernment account
  • Verify your property details
  • Update your contact and mailing address

In-Person – Visit the Inland Revenue Department offices in St. Kitts or Nevis, where our friendly team members are available to assist you directly.
