The Inland Revenue Department (IRD) is pleased to announce that 17th and 18th December, 2021 are the prescribed dates for the Discounted VAT Rate Days.

The Inland Revenue Department wishes to inform the General Public, especially those who are currently seeking to renew or have renewed their Driver’s Licence and/or Vehicle Licence online via our website WWW.SKNIRD.COM to be guided by the following.

The General Public is hereby advised that all taxes that were due on June 30, 2021, are now due on July 30,2021. All interest and penalty charges associated with these taxes will be waived.

The Inland Revenue Department is aware of the challenges that our customers are
currently experiencing because of the Covid-19 pandemic, as it relates to meeting their tax obligations. The Department has taken
the decision to extend the due date for all taxes due and payable on 15th June,2021 to 30th June,2021.

Kindly note that over this weekend, starting from April 30th at 6 pm until Monday, May 3rd at noon, there will be a planned service interruption due to scheduled maintenance on our website, E-Services, and Information Technology infrastructure.
